William T. Williams, Architect

In the summer of 1912, when William McKenzie decided to change his original plan of a small home into a grocery store, he enlisted the help of a local architect, William T. Williams. Known for his work around town, Medicine Hat's town hall, schools and commercial buildings, Williams was put in charge of designing the McKenzie Grocery.
